SHINE logo

SHINE

Unlocking potential through inclusive experiences

SHINE is designed specifically for Key Stage 2 pupils with SEND who would benefit from additional opportunities to develop confidence, communication, physical literacy and independence through engaging, inclusive physical activity.

Rather than focusing on competition, SHINE focuses on opportunity — giving every child the chance to discover activities they enjoy, experience success, develop friendships and build the confidence to participate both in school and beyond.

Many children with SEND face barriers to participation in PE, physical activity and school sport. SHINE removes those barriers by creating inclusive, adapted experiences where every child can succeed in their own way. Our aim is simple: help every child discover what they CAN do.

empowerHER logo

empowerHER

A year-long girls' confidence & participation initiative

empowerHER is designed for Key Stage 2 girls who may lack confidence, have disengaged from physical activity, have developed a negative perception of PE or sport, or simply need support to believe in themselves.

Delivered across four sessions in the academic year, the programme uses physical activity, teamwork and reflection to develop confidence, resilience and a positive relationship with movement.

Rather than creating better sports performers, empowerHER develops girls who are confident enough to participate — not just in sport, but in every opportunity life presents.

The Growth Mindset Project logo

The Growth Mindset Project

Building resilient minds. Unlocking potential. Going beyond limits.

Through interactive lessons, practical challenges, inspiring stories and thought-provoking discussions, pupils discover that success isn't determined by natural talent, but by effort, perseverance, learning from mistakes and believing in their ability to improve.

Rather than avoiding difficult tasks, children learn to embrace challenge, seek feedback, persevere through setbacks and recognise that every mistake is another step towards success.

The programme is designed for Key Stage 2 pupils and complements existing school work around wellbeing, character education and learning behaviours.

04LeadershipIncluded for all

Play Leader Training

Pupils who plan, lead and deliver playground activity

Play Leader Training gives pupils the opportunity to learn how to lead activities for different year groups in their school. During the day, children consider the qualities of a successful leader and then plan, set up and deliver a playground game for KS1 classes to take part in.

All planning and delivery is completed by children within your selected class, working in small groups. We also require two KS1 classes for the afternoon session to take part in the Play Leaders' games — this can be Year 1, Year 2 or both for a one-form-entry school.

Once the leaders have completed their training day, we hope they continue to develop their leadership skills by completing as many hours as possible on the playground, delivering organised physical activity for other children in the school.

MOVE IT! — Live Healthy logo

MOVE IT! — Live Healthy

Simple. Fun. Effective. Healthy lifestyles for every child.

MOVE IT! promotes healthy lifestyles, helping children understand the importance of exercise and food as part of their everyday lives. The project is delivered as a 4-hour experience in a fun, child-friendly format that gets every child moving and thinking about the choices they make.

Our MOVE IT! Minutes Tracker supports children to increase their daily movement in line with the Chief Medical Officer's guidance of 60 active minutes per day. Children record their activity across the week, discover their favourite ways to move and build habits that last beyond the project.

The need is real: 89% of children say watching TV is their favourite activity, 75% prefer to stay at home than go to the park, and a third of 11-year-olds are now classed as obese. MOVE IT! gives children the knowledge, motivation and tools to choose an active, healthy life.
